About Our Team in Sacremento

Dr. Sarah Swanson has long aspired to become an optometrist. She majored in biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and went on to graduate from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2002. After graduation, Dr. Swanson felt a draw to Sacramento and began practicing at Eyes on J in 2002. In 2004, she purchased the practice and is proud to share her education with her patients.

As part of her dedication to her patients, Dr. Swanson, O.D. participates in many forms of continuing education. In addition, she is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society.

Marjorie Soto is our office manager. Originally from Salinas, CA, she came to Sacramento with over 10 plus years of customer service experience and currently has 5 years of optical experience. When she is not busy, you can catch her helping at the front desk, answering phones, and ordering contacts.

Marjorie is also bilingual in Spanish and enjoys working with our Spanish-speaking patients. She is dedicated to ensuring you have a wonderful experience here at Eyes on J Optometry.

Maria Ledesma is our bilingual optometric technician. She completed an optical course at Charles A. Jones Skills Center in 2012. Shortly after graduating, she found Eyes on J Optometry. Her extensive knowledge of advanced technology allows Maria to assist Dr. Swanson with the testing necessary to provide our patients with a full comprehensive examination.

Fabiola Juarez has a strong sense of style and welcomes the chance to help people choose frames that best compliment their appearance, as well as their personality. Fabiola began her optical experience by spending several years focusing on the health and cosmetic benefits of sun protection before making the move to working with prescription eyewear.

In addition to all this, Fabiola is bilingual and enjoys working with our Spanish-speaking patients.

Sinjita Singh is a Sacramento native and comes to Eyes on J Optometry with over 12 years of optical and customer service experience. When she is not busy styling patients in our fashionable frames or dispensing glasses, you can catch her helping at our front desk and answering phones.

Beky Hinkle came to Eyes on J Optometry with over 13 years of customer service experience. She completed an optical course at National Career Education in 2021 and quickly found a home with Eyes on J. When she is not busy styling patients in our fabulous frames, you can catch her helping at the front desk, checking patients in, and answering phones.
